Transformations That Inspire

Kitchen Remodel – Moose Lake, MN

These Moose Lake, Minnesota homeowners wanted a modern, functional kitchen to replace their outdated and inefficient layout. The original island, with two small peninsulas, created a bottleneck, while the new design features a more open and accessible workspace. Relocating the refrigerator to the opposite wall also provided a larger prep area next to the stove, improving both flow and functionality.

Park Point Screen Porch Remodel – Duluth, MN

This Park Point screen porch was in dire need of an upgrade, with inadequate framing that didn’t meet modern codes and a worn-out appearance. J&RS completely rebuilt the structure, reinforcing the framing and updating the siding and windows, transforming it into a fresh, secure, and stylish space.

Stairway Remodel – Duluth, MN

While the existing staircase was already elegant, these homeowners wanted a more modern, industrial aesthetic. J&RS helped them achieve this bold transformation with white skirt and riser boards paired with black treads for striking contrast, while sleek steel cable railings completed the contemporary industrial look.

Deck Renovation – Carlton, MN

For this deck renovation in Carlton, MN, we upgraded the space with low-maintenance composite decking for lasting durability and easy upkeep. Sleek Westbury aluminum railings add a modern touch while ensuring safety, and new composite stairs provide a seamless connection from the driveway to the deck. To complete the transformation, vinyl lattice skirting was added around the perimeter for a polished and refined look.

Lakeside Bathroom Remodel – Duluth, MN

J&RS helped these homeowners update their Lakeside bathroom with a new tile floor, fresh paint, upgraded fixtures, and a custom tile walk-in shower replacing the old fiberglass unit. The result is a modern, refreshed space that blends style and functionality.

Lakeside Master Bathroom Shower Remodel – Duluth MN

These homeowners turned to J&RS to transform their outdated, cramped bathroom into a modern, open space. By removing interior walls, J&RS created room for a fully tiled walk-in shower. Sleek white 8″ hex tiles flow seamlessly from the walls into the shower, while glass shower walls add brightness and sophistication.

Full Kitchen Remodel in Duluth, MN

The original kitchen was everything you do not want in a kitchen, it was dark, dingy, outdated and not very functional. These customers came to J&RS for a fresh new kitchen design. They wanted an updated kitchen that was beautiful, functional, and also affordable. By keeping the design simple and the selections in check, these customers were able to achieve an incredible new kitchen on a budget!

Lakeside Master Bathroom Vanity Remodel

By moving some interior walls, J&RS was able to create more area to accommodate a bigger vanity and also have room for the new shower. A narrow window was cut in above the vanity mirror to flood the updated bathroom with natural light while also keeping the space private. The designer at J&RS used tile selections with contrast to create impact, and then used natural walnut for the slab style vanity and floating shelves to bring warmth and compliment the hard surfaces and modern selections.

Lakeside Bathroom Remodel – Duluth MN

This Bathroom was stuck in a time capsule and was in need of an update. J&RS’s Kitchen and Bath designer Bridget worked with the homeowners to transform this bathroom into a modern masterpiece.

The bright white trim accents the beige walls , while the wood floating shelves create a pop of warmth with out being to overbearing. The glass walk in shower is the cherry on top that takes this bathroom from updated to Luxury!
