New or Old?
In this remodel the design leaned heavily into the past. Taking inspiration from an old World/European style.
A look at the past
The materials here are carefully picked. The natural looking tile backsplash implemented with the brass rail really gives this an old European look.
Brass
The faucet blends well with the brass rail and the brass plate on the bottom of the shelf above the sink.
Classy
Right off the kitchen is this little powder room that packs its own punch with all the details.
It's in The Tile
This tile has stunning depth to it. The deep blue tone flows well with the other tones in the powder room.
Designed for Dining
With the kitchen and powder room getting an update, they also decided to help the dining room. Exposing the old brick of the original building helps tie it to the older feel, along with some carefully curated furnishings.
Lighting from the past
Sticking with an era in the lighting makes the space feel cohesive.
Design in every room
The vintage-style faucet in both the bathroom and the kitchen establishes a connection between the rooms.
