Photo Album: Lakewood Addition - Duluth MN

This Lakewood addition was completed in the summer of 2022 by J&RS. The project was a two story addition on a basement. The main floor of the addition is off of the kitchen, and it acts as a multi use space mainly used for dining. The custom oak staircase brings you to a bedroom that has a wonderful view of Lake Superior. The addition has multiple large Marvin windows that let in a ton of natural light. The millwork is all natural oak which adds a lot of warmth along with the light beige walls.

Oak Stairway and Railings

Square cut oak treads, posts, and railings create a simplistic yet tasteful appearance.

Hardwood Floors & Stairway

Not only is hardwood beautiful, it is very durable! This new stairway and floor will last the lifetime of this home!

Custom Made Book Shelf

This bookshelf was custom built by one of our very own trim supervisors to fit under the stairs.

Let there be Light!

Many will say there is no such thing as too much natural light! We agree! These large Marvin Windows allow an abundance of natural light that make this new addition very inviting.
